My Background
I’m not a historian, journalist, or Korea expert. I’m simply someone who grew up here and lived through the changes.
I remember a Korea before smartphones, high-speed internet, K-pop’s global success, and the modern Seoul the world knows today. I remember the neighborhoods, schools, family expectations, economic ups and downs, and ordinary moments that rarely make it into guidebooks.
